…Parabolic Introflection

By SolApathy

Memories of thoughts never known
I ponder the elements of a life unknown
Borne of a dream, never truly alive
Destiny of a hope in which you lie idly by
Unable to truly fathom this could ever be real
Something I wish you could, again feel
Twisting nothingness into illusion
You find only confusion
I disintegrate into the void of the unreal
Burning as I beg you to let me heal
Screaming in whispers-- the darkness of your world, alone
Dreams to dust as the pills do entrust
Solitude of thoughts as the drugs take hold
Removing you from the dire reality of dreams unreal
Delving into the coma of a life you never have to
…Feel

That's when karma can be a real bitch, and it seems like there's no punishment enough. This made me think of my step-mother, and it brought back a lot of memories. What a lovely come back for you, dearest. Rebs:).

the depth of sadness is unmistakable... but I also see a reaching for more... as always you leave me wanting more... Well Penned! ~worm~

This resonates with such a sadness... If the Penner is the Penned then let me assure you, you could never disintegrate into the unreal. Ever, ever. Expertly written, as ever and always, friend 😊
