...Reprisal

By SolApathy

Synergy of the forgotten one
I was the shadow in the corner with no voice
Silence never my choice
 Wrought with anger
Savior of the innocent no more
I am the vessel to cleanse a soul of its core
Bristle with rage as I rattle this weakening cage
Beholding myself as I let slip my evil upon this page
I am borne of a warped mind
Tainted by the wickedness of your braying over time
Into the shadows of a pain that boils away the fiercest rain
I smile in the decadence of sorrow in which you shall be slain
Marauder of the light that once beknown
I pillage the once sweet thoughts in your iniquitous mind
Twisting them in the essence of my corrupt vessel
Contaminating your timeline --
With the darkness of my twisted existence
I repent for the souls I failed to protect
In those chilling memories-- I reflect
Burning with the animosity of your words
I trap you in your own cage
Let loose upon you my failure’s rage
I Whisper in chilling defiance as you scream to be let go
…Welcome to the suffering that lies beyond woe
Just as I know my suffering will never end
Yours, today will finally
…Begin

I definitely felt the revenge and the anger in this one, I love it! It's so evil!
