My Rhythm

By A Dispelled Truth

Dance with me.  Follow me.
You.
You inspire my riddles and melodies.
Your scorched feet and bruised cheeks.
Your soul swamped with sickness.
Waves of dissonant polyphonies that plague your hearing.
Bone chilling, so thrilling.
Panning your ears, left to right, right to left.
A symphony of conducted horror.
From their's, to you, to yours.
Endless chords strumming
From a black backdrop.
You're sick.
You.
You inspire my riddles and melodies.
A grave misfortune indeed.
You draw shades, casting shadow upon tumors.
Both young and old.
And weep monotonously.
You reshape your throne, polish my crown.
Don't those thorns pain you?
You pitiful revenant.  A hollow corpse.
Yet hallowed by being.
You.
You inspire my riddles and melodies.
You that seeks me.
I understand.
Your heart, your soul.
They cry out for harmony.
They seek shelter.
I understand.
But you inspire my riddles and melodies.

"Waves of dissonant polyphonies that plague your hearing." Fantastic! I love the repetition... Possibly my favorite things in the world are the poems that start with a theme, bounce into infinity, and end by coming back to the start.... Excellent.
