What Never Was

By midnights voice

What Never Was

The battle raged inside my head
My heart was wounded , direly bled

Temptuous tides a full moon's rise
Buried the face of love's demise

I held a diamond to golden dreams
Hell bent I ripped apart the seams

I wail away all love to yesterday
And kiss the past's cold lips that sway

And what never was will be no more
And what never was will be no more
