the same old song

By Lab Rat

Twisting around on myself, nerves, tendons
Frayed
My thoughts betray, vivid, portaits
Afraid
I can listen to the whispering voices, still there
Still there, deep and delving ever deeper

The answers hiding in the glass etched
Bottom of a bottle
Cliche...
Tired, dirty and broken

A process, a road
New beginnings
... Bullshit

Just another name for the same old disease
Just new pills to do the same old progress

That leads to the same old spots

same old song? certainly! the definition of insanity is to keep doing the same things and expecting a different outcome... change happens... it just has to be fought for... Be Well! ~worm~

I think we`ve all faced some form of struggle that seems endless; like a uroboro or a flight of stairs going backwards ... such an observation/reflection. *good to read you, again;)*

I once wrote ,"You can't go back by adding another verse to the same old song ." And my voices are whispering to me as I look into the bottom of the empty glass ,"Get milk."

I never know what to say. It's hard, i know. I'm just glad you're writing. You have no idea how much I've been wanting to read something new from you.
