...Chocolate Roast (Anna's serenade)

By SolApathy

In the evening of a roast,
Dark brown the child shall boast
Chocolate conflagration of my burning temptation
Feed the boy the brown
See if he grins-- or frowns
Realizing This is the dinner to which he is bound
I smile in sweet bliss
His eyes of glistening blue
Tears falling as he plows on through
A roast of chocolate mousse
That came out of my
…Caboose!

Lol. The faces the child made when he ate the few bites...he really committed to his belief in what I served for dinner. Creatively done, got a laugh out of me. Scholar

Based off the comment Anna made regarding what her son called the dinner (roast) she made
