Shallow water

By molock

Disconnected,
...reaching out.
immune to affection,
crumbling down....

shallow water,
...in too deep.
never bothered
to look before you
leap.
out of breath,
let love rest in
peace...

under silent protest,
spiral and descend...
emotionally suppressed,
...when will it end?
is the charade over yet?
still waiting for love's
last breath...

Nothing can fix that kind of pain. It just runs its course. I love the way you describe it. You have a way with words.
