sunday memory

By Magdalena

I stood on the shore
of the earth
felt
your soul leave

my childlike
lips
let slip
your name
in silence
at my feet

you are
unending

and remember nothing

of the rusting world

a constant light
behind my eyes

you disconnect
but never leave

te extraño

with wings of moon-moths
ever waxing
through galaxies
I cannot reach

my angel
brother

Such a beautiful tribute, eulogy, poetic piece of melancholy. ...So wonderfully wrought..*raises a toast to the memory of your brother, Eddy*
