...Pendulum

petrifying thoughts control time
Insanity consuming my mind
Outrageous rage to comatose calm

Erratic epiphany of things I surely cannot be
Laying upon the bed; trapped upon this crushing mental sea
No shore to look for as I drift upon a lone thought
My memories, taut
Inflexible & perplexed
Your rational thoughts can’t slip through to the one you once knew
I am a stranger in my own mind
Thoughts disheveled and disturbed
I can see you perturbed
Yet I can’t say a

How wide the spectrum of emotions can be is staggering when you stop to think about it. We can't always explain why we feel what we feel, but we feel nonetheless. Brilliant use of the pendulum in this write! Your Reb;).
