Ever Here

By Purposelessness

I live again, but can't recall
         The life I once abhorred
Now and then I see a smile
     A twitch, a flick, a twisted lip

      Visions dart upon my eyes
           Greyed out windows
              Blackened skies

But nothing seen belies the truth
We all live beneath one roof
Repeating lives and days and death
Ever here with one more breath

Everything about this was done right. The structure. The way you broke up the lines. You managed to deliver your message in such an eloquent way. This was good. I'm enjoying everything I read from you.

Thank you so much. It's been like this for me for a while and only very recently I have moved house and it's been stressful, but now the rut seems to have dissolved. Maybe writing this has helped with the rut dissolution :)
