...Dreams of the damned

By SolApathy

Love into the abyss
Never thought it to be like this
So many times, missed
Not found
Lost so much ground
Hope by the night
Dying by the day
I hung on to every word you say
The poem of a sweet serenade
The tragedy of the rusted blade
If only I could keep these distressing feelings at bay
I’m not the one for you
Never would you tattoo
Our names in symphony
Upon your skin
Just not that much love, within
Or is my mind in distress?
Unable to be consoled by your sweet caress
Cannot believe in things to be
Never do I see
A storybook ending
As we lay upon a sunset night
Tonight, will we fight?
Am I right to be wrong?
I pray only once for this to be our song
Sweet, long
Forever
…Strong

  • A former member wrote: It's usually a lover that brings us into the light, isn't it? "I hung onto every word that you said", drinking her beautiful words in like water of life. These moments are like heated lightning that flashes in the darkness, and we must truly treasure those moments. A beautiful ode to the power of love. Queen Reb:).
