Deep Sight

By dark_sister

I can see the western wind.
It kisses me throbbing with
all the anger and teeth
I've gnashed today.
It unsits the lonely
from beside me.
It pulls me to my feet,
and I can move now,
past this shady character
and that shady character,
and who knows who is hiding
and waiting to do
some arm-twisted deed unto me.
Pull me softly and dream me away, wind.
I'm getting hard and cracked,
like pavement, and dull as gray, too.
