Spark of Love

The sky rumbled and flashed.
It seemed it was my heart tearing at the sky,
yearning for him.
Fingers of lightning reached out
to caress me in my sleep,
as i whisper his name.
I feel his warmth all around me and smile,
as i open my eyes to greet my love...
only to realize it's only me,
still only me,
alone.
