Can we make it a date?
Let’s dance in the rain
Enjoy each other’s pain
Inject the things that sustain
Split us from reality
The duality of drugs and life
My only way to escape this
Strife
Bury my demons in a thorazine haze
Blaze the blunt
Let the darkness erupt
Into a kaleidoscope of color
Far beyond the problems of yesterday
Skipping well into the future I don't deserve
Beyond the dust & rust
I fall
Back into the bleak beyond
Where I must return
You won’t let me leave
Reality
Smite my desire to expire
Rehabilitation is beyond my means
The drugs took the darkness away
With that benefit I had to recompense
A price far more expensive than whatever you have
