Into the depths.

By SleepingDead

They drug her down into the depths
Of a dark abyss so cold and vile
Ripped open her soul
And carved in a smile
Left her bleeding demons
On the stairway that leads above
Angels weep, but close the gate
And cast out their own beloved
Dark cathedral steps
The damned await inside
Shadows draw her closer, with a promise
A place her devils can confide
They drug her down into the depths
And shoved those needles in
They took away her spirit, a will to live
Withered away with all of her skin
Red hot chains keep her bound
By her own accord, she remains alone and captive
She turned her back and went the way of Hell
For the things Heaven just could not give
I can hear her as she calls from below
Come play with me, she says
Needle fingers and dead eyes are all that's left
Of an angel left for dead
