Strange Transitions

By carlosjackal

Soap operas for the weird
The out of time
Lines knocked sideways
Parallel minds
Waiting to fuse
Scenes on speed
Ukelele playing
Eyeballs left at the door
Maids of the sea returning
With tails of flames
A shot of a pink grenade
Reams of letters close together
Words fail to appear
With the stillness comes dread
Humour beyond the ink
Becomes the colour
Reveals a truth
Desire is no more than a black key
Hammer and silk
Fingertips and bent backs
Arrival is mirage
We cling to the paradox
Like a twin
Always in love
With strange transitions

"Reams of letters close together Words fail to appear" - my fav line in this piece full of great lines. Love the flow and feel of this one, definitely creates a sense of chaos heading somewhere definite, like being swept along with a crowd...a very rowdy crowd...of agitated people carrying tire irons and bricks. : ) Ciao, T/S Scholar

And just when I thought you couldn't possibly top any of your other works... That's a lie, I never thought that. Not even for a millisecond, I just like seeing myself type random shit. Nonsense is my cup of tea alongside your strange transitions. On another note: I felt as though you were respecting my wandering mind (my walking nightmare) so to speak. Love your face and your brilliant mind. 💋 Scholar
