Rest-Restless
By beamish
There is a heart beating in the chest
of the stranger I lay next to
In her rest- the arm that I rest my head upon
Flesh so real I feel everything
But still I look at her
Strangely thinking of my past
Have we seen a life - a time at some point before
Have we tasted each other's lips
Was this meeting by chance or a mistake following our last
meeting of confusion
She rests-I'm restless
Tense
Not knowing her face
The name rings a bell
But at times they all sound the same
Her eyes flutter familiarity
I shutter at the oddity of her
The oddity of knowing that I don't even know
Who I am So how could I know
Her

A sort of dilemma between dark memories and present. If i may add, it could fit better under the category "Love".
