My little gutter girl

By beamish

She's my broken Barbie doll.

Nothing close to the version sold at the mall

Scarred and numb, bruised and bleeding

So beautiful and soft, a vision of sin in perfection

The scars on her arms remind her of her fears

The strength of mine are there to hold her still

She's dressed in a prom dress, black boots and purple hair

Some see a walking disaster, I see my angel floating on air

The tear stained cheeks of her many smashed dreams

The hard ugly hands that belong to a drunk mean old man

But when she smiles her eyes light like candles

Judged by many as nothing but trash

But not by me my perfect love

My broken little doll is heaven wrapped in hell's warm fires

Tattered and torn, mind spinning out of control

For me my little gutter girl is all I can see-in a world of false beauty- she blinds them all

Her taste of pure and true reality shows my humbled self that love can exist

 Even in hell

:) I like this one. The tear stained cheeks of her many smashed dreams. Very good visual that is very relatable

A beautiful rendering of hidden beauty Beamish. Hoping she reads this and perks up. Best of luck and there is salvation in the noble heart. Cheers and congrats! - Dan
