An auto-scourgic spasm

By cadymae

I begin the bloodletting and feel some relief

A Release

An easing

Of a tightness across my soul

That grip on the reins that leaves creases
Across the grain of your lifelines

Hands tingling, tired, tremoring

tiny pulsating burstlets of empathy

Overridden by rigor

An august authoritarian rises up within to

Finish the fight

Hands sure and still, competent all of a sudden

You paint difficult scenes with elegance, honesty and a world-weary experience that shines in your work. Your talent is wonderful.

Love your visuals and the way you present a scene through the prism of your experience. "That grip on the reins that leaves creases Across the grain of your lifelines" - excellent visual detail! Ciao, T/S Scholar
