I'll build us a house.

By Phalanx

You serve yourself.
Don't act like you don't know who I'm talking to.
You serve shadows and wastelands, where they begin.
Do not speak my language, you offend me.
I'm as black as the other side you can't see.
Bones break in sunshine like God left the room.
I'm not liked anymore than you.
When you shout, I entertain an empty wind,
More than you earned.
Don't you dare look at me.
I am not your salvage yard.

Just to let you know,
I'm very angry.
I have a lot of unresolved problems
That keep me awake.
The baggage is full grown, living people.
The mending of fences is one long Goddamn fence.

If I was afforded one, "take back."

It's not nice to speak of her in the third person.

I don't regret you.

I regret who I was.
