AND WE DIVED IN THE DROP...

By Dark Chocolate

The sky was blond,
the land was black,
and snakes were white,
we lost appetite,

The grass was red,
and the leaves turned pink,
we were on the brink,
but we were on a binge.

And we dived in the drop...
Hmmm...........................
And we dived in the drop...

I heard the smell of the shore,
and we tasted petrichor.

Trapped in a hive,
caught in the buzz.

The cotton bride,
lost in the dust

Hmmm............
and we dived in the drop....

There's a great sense of imagery in this particular piece, that most seem to lack. Well written, fellow poet

"I heard the smell of the shore, and we tasted petrichor." -- Absolutely enjoyed reading this, particularly said line. Marvelous piece to leave me stuck with mischievous thoughts. Oh and... I had no intention of logging in this morning; that is until I read this, and then I just had to comment --Totally worth it! .tips hat. Scholar
