Whirlwind of Anticipation

By felicity0444

Time goes on
I’m frozen in place.
  Don’t say the words.
I look away.
How long can I be strong and still
Like a rock in your sandstorm?
Disappearing before my own eyes.
Fragments of my self blown away
On your wind.
How long until my eyes
will no longer divert
to the soft and serene
Views of the dunes?
But instead are transfixed
By the colors of your skies.
Your wind on my skin
I look away
I look away For fear that one day
I know
If I look too long
I won’t be able to look away
Again
Your lips against mine
so sweet
Your breath on my neck
as I sleep
Your touch on my body
Caressing me
Mind spinning
I have to look away
I’m getting lost
I see you
Confused......and smiling
The paths of life swirl around me
Like star showers in the night.
Blurry but beautiful
telling the secrets of fate.
Twinkling and winking
Just out of sight.
I am too scared to listen
To know what will be.
I look away.
Needing to kiss your lips and feel your touch…
I’m looking away.
Life moving on
And I sit here still
Strong as stone
Always wanting
Needing
Looking away

It's good, very accurate. Most don't like to see, period. I'm keeping this for my own reasons.

I agree! Truly seeing and feeling are scary for most poeple I've noticed. Thank you!
