Dissecting The Amygdala

This ringing in my ear,
The static in my head
And all around,
Manifest fears.
 
Light headed and high,
Feeling so low.
Devils giggle in my ear,
My screams echo.
 
My skin crawls,
Itching and scratching,
Insects in my skin,
Eggs hatching.
 
Curled up on my side,
Puking up some waste,
On the ground,
With putrid taste.
 
Pool of sweat,
I’m so cold,
Eyes rolled back,
No control.
 
Noises louden,
All goes dark,
Caught in Styx,
As Cerberus barks.
 
Suddenly-
