A Valentine's Box

A Valentine's Box, cozy in lace so red
Heart shapes dancing all thru my head.

Would you please, to be my Valentine?
Of the sweetest or the naughtiest kind?

Let's close the shades and pull the blind
So noone can see what goes on behind.

Tug on the lace, loosen that pretty bow
The heart opens that way don't ya know.

Chocolate covered, sure to steal the show
But what's under that, melts really slow.

Trying to see what lies beneath,
                         the wrap falls off all of a sudden--
Exposing those treats so sweet,
                         mmmmm pink gumdrop buttons!

They point from under the thin lace,
                         seeing them makes me purse my lips--
Then the look changes on your face,
                      as I roll them between my fingertips.

Looks like sugar  all on the end here,
                         I should taste them just to make sure--
My taste buds can't decide, oh dear!
                         How many licks might it take to a cure?

Oooh they didn't look that puffy before,
                         guess my tongue did a little magic trick--
Attention needed on those much more,
                         so yummy it's like hard candy on a stick!

Swirling around between my lips to and fro
They taste so sweet I just want you to know

The finest candies don't come from See's
I like my treats interactive if you please!

I think there was ice just a minute ago....
It must have all melted down now tho....
