Into Death's Arms

By SirEnders

I remember when you and I were we
But obviously we were not meant to be.
Do not stay and hinder me any longer
You ravaged my will like a warmonger.
I cannot recall when my smile was true
Tonight, I hope the knife goes through.
Allow me to fade and just disappear
I no longer have a single damn fear.
Death comes for his son tonight
He is almost here, almost in sight.
He comes on the horizon in stride
I run to my Father arms open wide.
He embraces me in his cold arms
Shows me his expansive soul farms.
Strange, Death is so safe and caring
But this life we live is utterly daring.
Empty promises and broken wills
I've done things that'll give you chills.
People seem to destroy others
Even when they call them brothers.
Earn the trust of the people
Only to hang you from the steeple.
They cruelly frame you to set an example
You have a 50/50 chance to win, easy gamble.
I no longer have the need for my breath
Comfortably accept the love of Death.
Feel the rope tighten with such an ecstasy
Close my eyes slowly, blissfully, and breathlessly.

I used to believe that death was calm and peaceful, and far better than being alone. I like stumbling across pieces like this, mainly because, I kinda like the salt to the opened wound remembrance... It proves my strong mental growth. Your words are haunting, and yet comforting to my pulsating heart. You've reminded me, in stanzas, of my once true love. I have to believe, somethings are just 'not' meant to be. ...and move on. My heart still aches, dammit. Great read! -Bows to you and writing on Scholar

I do apologize for bringing up past memories. I also thank you and appreciate you reading it. How you do you learn? Through experiences, regardless of the good or bad outcome, you learned your lesson. Thus enabling you to have a more inside look on the situation. Everything has a reason and specific outcome. I wish you better days. Again, thank you for reading.

Kid cidi somg "the prayer" stuck on repeat. Me? I just turned to drugs. Neither path was a solution. Both girls are Still around, goin about their daily business like they didnt destroy a life

I went to a little of everything, self harm mainly, even though it's also a sexual thrill. Girls don't realize that men are much more fragile then we tend to let them see.
