Diarrhea Of The Brain

By WitheredRoses

I fear that I've lost myself.
Somewhere in the conundrum we call life.
Or perhaps,
I have simply given too much of myself away?

Whatever the reason,
I feel as though I've grown empty,
A husk of who I once was...
Or who thought I was?

Everything seems to be a question now...
No longer able to decide which answer is correct,
Or if in fact,
If I want to answer at all.

There's a peacefulness in not knowing...
Not knowing who you were,
Who you are,
Who you will be,
If you ever even really existed at all...

Perhaps someday,
Maybe even soon,
This feeling will pass and I will be me.

Whoever that persons decides she wants to be...
