Dreary Days

By lupus tenebrae

Dreary days
...
they whittle me

down to
basics, the bare bones of an earnest
mind

ex-
posed;
madness un-
veiled in shameless nudity

    Yes, when sad and dreary, flash someone! Maybe streak by a senior citizens center! Nudity is the solution to everything...or not, but at least you won't wake up the next day with a hangover from nudity alone. : ) Scholar

    I love the dreary tone, point on, to the painted imagery left lingering in my mind. I felt as though, I was staring at my dripping manuscript pen hovering over a blank sheet of Strathmore Sketch paper. There I awaited a colorful scenery, but my pen only bleed masked shades of grey. And my thoughts were left to weep the smudged ink splatters. Fantastic! -Bows and applauds Scholar
