Slipknot Kisses

By blue angel

I found myself on the dark side
of the Moon tonight,
hummin’ crib death lullabys – and thinking of you

I needed something cold
to wrap my mind around,
and something special to put this moon dust in

So I plucked that ol bottle from the Moon’s eye,
unclenched my fist and let it all fall in
(just a little token, for you, from me)

If you hold it up to the starlight
you can see a glimmer of dreams inside
and a few love songs beatin’ their wings against the rim

I sealed it just the way you like it too
with a soft slipknot kiss…

of my realities twisted sense

BA - a Gordian knot to unravel, and so many elements to take it deeper and darker with every line. There was no letup after "crib death lullabies" - cheers and so good to read you again! - Dan

I enjoyed the pinch of sensuality whispered from your soft-spoken lips. And I followed the trail of moon dust gleaming from off your flared wings. You know, you wouldn't be much fun to read without your "realities twisted sense" -Winks at the luminous Angel Scholar
