Crucified, By Dying Light (feat GhettoZombie and lupus tenebrae)

By ColorMeToxic

Birth Mother,

lacking instinct.
Just because you have a uterus,
doesn't mean you should use it.
Abusing children,
neglecting them,
lacking love

fire spitting
verbal burns
persistent pain that won't stop giving
one more gift you gave  me
you sociopath
words hurt
permanent scars

Twenty two
shot wildly
with your children in the truck
you decided to pull the trigger
thank god
you missed
your children.

---

Sperm donor,
perverting the
sunset then claiming you meant well;
seizing serenity from thin air, plucking
apart its
syllables with
a smile.

Your company,
a blight
on the verdant limbs encasing my
heart, the quavering muck of your
soul, absconding
with my
pristine yesterdays.

The endless
stream of
dreck, flowing, unhindered from your maw,
sullies the prism at my core
then dissolves
its still
forming rainbows.

---

Your nasty
verbal abuse
made me question our engagement; so
it’s no wonder my sheer hopelessness
made suicide
more sexy
than you

No joke
This issue
brought me deep into the underground.
Facing the train, nearly getting hit
Pulled out
from tracks
I lived

Locked up.
Brought out.
One month full of mob mentality.
Vilified by those I deemed friends.
But now
they can
blow me.

this was a great piece, can't believe i am just coming across it now. powerful, sad, emotion, angry, this had a lot going on it, and it worked great. my favorite lines were "perverting the sunset then claiming you meant well," that captures so much in so few words. Ciao, T/S Scholar
