Playful Sprigs Of Maple

By lupus tenebrae

jostles the underbrush

from its cozy, earthen home:
rain, seized like dewdrops

by playful sprigs of maple
wafting in an errant breeze,

subservient to interpretive dance

I like the allusion to interpretive dance! The rain has sure been making the leaves dance on the east coast this summer, holy cow! Ciao, T/S Scholar
