Pathfinder

By Phalanx

I'm a lot of firsts
To my knowledge but,
People look at me like i've done this before.
I just don't remember.
It's my fault but,
It's not, I'm still fighting myself
To save what I have left.
The only reason i'm still alive
Is that I know my enemy somehow.
From a past life or in a mistake I haven't made yet.
I'm trying to die right, one day at a time.
I can remember differently in movement.
I don't have to die here.
The better man still fights in this.
He isn't dead.
He's retracing his steps.

*shutters* I see now how it's it's reflective when we speak. It's like I see myself in someone else's existence. Frighteningly this speaks volumes to me.
