Through The Narrows

By Phalanx

Dance a fire step forward, away from hell.
Time is short and the stop watch is clicking in seconds
As a backwards recollection of years.
In everything we secure in attempts with cash and dirt, we rent.
We don't own much of anything.
We get ripped away from ground and are owned by dirt.
Watch the clock from time to time.
Don't forget yourself in everything that dies or changes shape.
We find our way back to God,
One way or the other.
