Still Addicted

By BloodyMercy

It’s been a decade or better my dark little friend
Then why do I still miss your sweet embrace?
Why do I wish for just a little more?
Where do I find these answers of a life unspent?

A pinch of anger
a dash of distaste
a wanting for the aroma of an unforgotten presence
Hiding together under night’s dark cover

A simple recipe for destruction
a needle
a spoon
the unfettered love of a soulless lover.

The feeling left in your place
I’m still the forgotten, broken toy
I’m still dreaming of something more
I’m still addicted. Forevermore?

I don't think that's ever going to not be that way unfortunately so I can only what it must be like for harder substances, you're doing good keep it up!
