Meridians
By mikeygreenleaf
Her mind it seems to wander
To a place right next to me
Thoughts sailing parallel
Along the very same degree
Birds kin of the same feather
Run together at the mouth
Friend I'll fly with you in circles
Til we know which way is south
And if we never find our way
The trail will find our wings
Should winter come between us
Surely I'll meet you in the spring
If yet another season
Feel the need to interfere
We'll complain about the weather
Satisfied we both have ears

I really enjoyed this! It seems to express a knowing comprised of something more than mere faith. It is a deep knowing that validates and substantiates hope.
