I said magic

By Jessica Orr

Did I tell you
a story and
I stopped;
speaking a name
can be magical.

As you sit
and do the mundane;
speaking attracts
as they know
a mouth forming,
teeth separate
and my lips move.

Maybe I said it
perfect every time;
it matters,
as eyes speak
and tell me what
you think I am.

it's showy, I
compact inferences;

it's due, I
know which way
to go with you;

It's marvelous, I
foresee many
ribbons
and it starts with one;
only thin and it tethers
together you and me,
we must love each other.

Actions,
and a control over myself;
picky price and
I know who I was;
you saw I didn't grow
but mimic something,
always quiet and set,
last reformed Mormon-

table manners,
a plaid feel, clean
But you know the
whore inside;
It's the natural order
of things,
it's the cook-out,
CIT's have control-

I love swimming
and being away
from the family
and pretending
I'm someone else
just for the summers.

It's all the way in,
the style pristine,
and I know the world
travels on,
It's set in light
and it's glorious
in earning her keep;
matters explained
and mind rigid,
follow the course
of your mother's mother
until death do I part,
fat chance like always
little baby,
rejected,
contrite and hovering
over overpasses and anime.

And
scene.

I say it.
He can judge you,
he can see it through
and you can glide
and smile
or decide to fight;
in hope of beautiful
songs
and precious forming
of his lips that
say
my
name.

    Very interesting work.Your ability to write about sensitive subjects with eloquence is no simple or common task.

    @Ortolan...Well, thanks as you are really making me feel good. So nice of you. Yes, it's raw, it's truly my view and it's the ability to forget and transfer to a neutral medium all of these meandering things (words or garbage or what's inside me). It's weird and I can't explain, I guess. But it's part therapy for me too. So, again, thanks and maybe one day both of us will do that "turning to stone" thing we spoke about (if only!) Later

    I am going to goto bed. Hammers and clanking swords aren't my style. Everyone has points of entry; buttons of shiny and for good or not I can push. I am Eve, destroyer of worlds. You imply a reaction to said writing; You know hands (for sure) and you know a secret language and a vessel to god not known by most (handful maybe). Ergo, one stands-down for allies of the crown as tables are safe and you can read eyes of the same.

    You are an absolute wrecking ball that flies in the face and put's it's ass with ten tons extra, just for good measure into the kick that brings the beast down! My God! Where did you come from?! Left field don't have shit on you!

    You really don't understand, never been hit this hard. Jesus Christ! I think I could shit myself, walk ten miles with a chafed ass and still smile. Lord have mercy!
