Explanation: '11' the most evil number is multiplied by '7' (no. of sinners before the arrival of christ) creating the most evil being ('77'- a perfect number---two evil hand in hand but in one conjoined form) in the cosmos. This number is also the final limit of sins that a mortal may cause. This 'being' is the one that has been long gone from the world(been inactive). But the time has come for its arrival from the deep abyss where it had been previously banished and that's all caused by these 'god loving people' who think they are pure but from the inside, insidious. So these people shall be destroyed in such a monstrous way by the being. This being '77' shall rise and create such a havoc, all the mortals(insolent breed of the so called 'God') may tremble(cries).
Death is a final test before a genesis(new beginning for the believers) and hence the 'being' will come to reveal its destiny i.e. death to all.
Back in the Dark Ages, when church was the head and not the government/people(btw, ): to the 'purists' creation was dominant and 'christening'(conversion to christianity) was a must. And to those who deviated from the church('Questioned' the church) would have to bargain for their life. In those times humanity submerged into the deepest abyss. But now the times have changed and 'the evangelist' has come not as a preacher but as a disciple to the dark 'one' and hence he has tasted the forbidden 'freedom'. Summing up as a mutiny to christ.
On the arrival of the 'being' his first task was the decapitation of the priests.
In a deeper sense: humanity's not worth saving and has fallen to the same deep abyss. Those who are worthy of a better life and try not to be a 'sheep' are suppressed by the 'herd'.
