Snow Crazy

By devilsrighthand

Crystal, pearly whites
Now yellow and decayed.
Confined to my small cell
Only my Ice Bugs and I.

Dulled and rusted needle,
Used a million times too many.
We pass that around the circle now,
No conversations to be had.

Time goes by without any knowledge of it,
Hours become minutes, minutes to seconds.
I could go straight if I wanted,
But I don’t want to.

No real friends anymore,
They’re just here to score.
We don’t go to school,
Only Ice Skate.

It lives under your skin,
It creeps and crawls,
And only we who shoot up,
Know what it’s like to fall.

Now I'm just a statistic
