. .butterfly kisses across the table. .

By NikesRain

nothing can be more capturing
than your gaze

these eyes until recently dimmed

frosted jade to forest deep
stopping my breath
in achingly soft intensity

shadowed to the greys of fog
unrelenting nightfall and blind even to hope

a sea of passions and possibilities
i find in every glance
moving in waves and gentle shifts

only recently reopened
by the majesty

swimming endlessly in just one look
drowning willingly with every i love you

here before them

The flow of this is so lulling. It feels hazy and dream like. Beautiful.
