I love VA in the summer (YUCK)

By BetaWolfinVA

Sing the joys of winter
moonlit white wrapped valleys
the quiet land around us
.
the sun, seen through
white wrapped branches
the songs of almost absent birds
.
the stars seen through
the clear night air
the crunch beneath our walking feet.
.
Winter, when the earth takes a rest
and stores up for the joys of spring
and the hellish heat of summer
