Who are you?.....Well, let me tell you.
You're my
laughter when I'm feeling sad
You're my
happy when life makes me mad
You're my
quench for an insatiable thirst
You're my
best when I'm at my worst
You're my
smile instead of my usual frown
You're my
right side up when I'm upside down
You're my
ray of sunshine in a winter blizzard
my eye in any hurricane
You're my
heat in bitter cold keeping me warm
my calm before every storm
You're my
sweetest darkness just before each light
You're my
only reason for still putting up a fight
You're my
Prometheus, the one that gave me this fire
You're my
oasis in this desert, a mirage worthy of desire
You're my
everything, without you I'm lost and nothing
You're my
royal straight flush and I'm not EVEN bluffing
Can't you see?.......
You're my
clear line of sight thru life's thick, dark haze
You're the One
I long to be beside for the rest of my days.....
