Dream Teaser

Waking up in the wee hours of the morn
slipping away from deep sleep with a smile

We were together in that beautiful dream
that seemed to last for forever and awhile

now I lie here alone in the shallow dark
looking back thru the memory of where we just were

Enchanted places thriving on inner bliss
still feeling the love of the time spent with Her

an Angelic face smiling as true words come forth
the untapped poetry of a world so surreal

the echo of it all comes with each beat of my heart
all that I felt there I still now feel

though the aspects and highlights start to fade away
by rules of the Immortals and the secrets they must keep

it will all soon be washed away until next time
by these mortal tears as I try not to weep
