Don't let me go mumma

By devilsrighthand

Off to the doctor son,
Third time this week,
They just want to test some things,
You'll be fine.

It's only a needle, it won't hurt,
The magic juices will put you to sleep,
So you won't need to feel the saw,
Opening up your skull and puncturing the brain.

Slip the knife in,
It's okay baby, you'll be fine,
Wake up in the morning with a slight head ache,
It's okay, we'll fix that up.

How are you today? That's good.
Have these, your new dose,
Only 7 a day baby, you're going to be fine.
No, you've got to take them all
For your own good.

Baby,
Go back to sleep now,
Just forget everything and sleep.

Back in the hospital baby,
You're going to sleep now baby,
Forever and ever,
An endless sleep.

Goodnight, son
We love you.

Oh this is just so sad and heartbreaking. I hope you never have to go through this again. I'm sending my thoughts and prayers.

This poem is brutal/haunting/heart breaking...all rolled up in one. Like being caught in a nightmare. I'm thinking brain cancer or tumor. It's horrible either way. A wicked write to say the least. :)
