Fogs

By maddin foxxxy

Just when I am about to go
I see something in you.....
You are forced to look away,
but I have seen it through.
What is it that frightens you?
Is my sight a lonely view?
Because I have wondered the world,
and I've met all kinds of people....
I have seen it all and still
I had never seen paisages like yours-
Every solitude in your company
Every silence in your melody...
The seas that turn in skyes,
Depths in your every sigh...
And it is afternoons like this
that your colors seem too gray,
You laugh and play the role
of a man that never stayed.
"Time is a limited journey", you say,
"but I hope it doesn't ends".
Yes, our debut in this theatre
at a time... was a lovely one,
when we still could make each other smile
as we ran careless, and had the most fun.
It was only to be numb at time,
when there was no need to count
the minutes in each hour
and the hours of every day.
Now you extend a yellow rose,
"for friendship and something more",
And just when I am to go
You see something in me...
We couldn't ever make it better,
So stop to see through me
I can only see you
the only way I know how to...
The years, like fogs to carry,
Since now to count them through.

I felt as though I were in a dream while reading this piece. A different person in a different place absorbing these words before eventually dying. They felt quite calming.
