Confusion Gives Him Courage

He loves the random order.
The full moons rising tide.
The acidic length of time
Of hedonistic crime.
Confusion gives him reason.
Confusion gives him courage...
To spin, and prod and jab
As a defensive badger.

The voyeur of young hearts
Of futures balanced
On the fulcrum
Of a tortured mind
When he decides
The fate of strangers.
~
A carrousel of soldiers
Housed patiently
To anticipate
A senseless act...
To numb the souls
Below a moon 
That grins to witness.

Boyhood images
House memories
Dwarfed by power
And the swollen ears
Of  anger...need protection.
~
The sweat soaked sheets
Awaken an anguished changeling
Desperate rememberance
Of maroon shards sent laughing
And the barbed-wire radio
Announces...
"...we interupt this program."
