my pathetic attempt at
being human
destroyed by your
unforgiving reaction to
my imperfection.
i apologize for being
less than what you
wished for.
and for having the
audacity to think
you single-handedly
caused me to
feel.
Like a child again,
just wanting validation
from someone who couldn't.
Wouldn't. Let. Themselves.
