Pills, Alcohol, and Cigarettes

By megaprime81

I've been attackedd 3 ways
All of them deadly
Pills, too many
Alcohol, too much
Cigarettes, too often
Will I survive the night?
Only if it's God's will
Not trying to end my life
But if i pass, oh well
Just keep my dream alive
To receive honor after death
If I'm good enough
To make the grade
I walk as a slave
To my own demise(?)
How will it pan out?
Tonight i may survive
I love you, Sweet angel
Hoping you never forget
Your importance to me
For loving you has no regret
If i live, that's the fate i deserve
Should i die, my works please reserve
Perhaps i'll survive
If not, i hope i'm remembered
Otherwise, i'm not worthy
And death will carry me away
I love you all
In mind you will stay
No matter my fate

Know the feelin' and I love how this speaks to the reader rather than guiding them down some path, I mean it just shows your path at the moment.
