Angels and individuals

By Dejected_Worth

They say they .love. the individual.
Until He's too much to handle.
And then
            He becomes an outcast
Or a criminal
           Or far worse..... a politician.

Angela was the [same] way...
      As once was the constitution.
[But I'm not sorry for believing]
             ........................
        ...either..... way...

I am completely numbed
           And dumbed,
By this sin.sation of future violations
Aghast yet indifferent, of the weight
      ....that submergance brings.

Angela whispers (in) my half-woken ear,
"How can you touch me so easily,
Then recoil when. I.  Touch. You?"
It must the cost of doing business,
           In these .fallen. economic times...
"Do you really love me, or am i just
    Your new diversion... from whatever
IT is you always seem to be
              Diverting from."
Maybe I really. am. on. the run..

Angela was naked  when I met her
....and where I left her.
      Her wings clipped,
                   And bleeding. She was crying.
"My father never loved me,
And mama never taught me how to fly"
                                ...And to think..

.. they say they love the individual..

Interesting; very deep thinking. Reminds me of when a mob of people cut off Angel's wings in X-Factor (the comic book) about1985 or'86. That, as well, was very tragic, in that it appeared that he committed suicide...but that's neither here nor there; 10
