Twilight Star

By Sean Mc Shane

Twilight Star, alone for the time
shining so bright above
I thank you for this divine moment
which we are both apart of

Now can you guide me to the Waking Dream ?
thru the Fields of Chaotic Madness
the swirling seas of the Nightmare Realm
far away from the Isles of Infinite Sadness

I've seen the bent rift of the fading Under Horizon
alluring and treacherous, yet so utterly amazing
spectral flash and flicker of azure and emerald
the mystic Fires of Forever always blazing

Along the Stellar Stones I will float freely
circling the ancient Palace of the Immortals
I need to see her on a colorful Pastel Cloud
not get lost again in these impassible portals

Twilight Star, now just one among the many
I will not wait to wish on any who are to fall
just guide me back to the way it once was
into the cascading magic of the Heart's Great Hall

Yep, you're right, you DO know how to get lost.....It's quite beautiful that far out though, I think. "I've seen the bent rift of the fading Under Horizon alluring and treacherous, yet so utterly amazing" , If you get stuck in that rift, we're gonna have a hard time pulling you back............It's a deep one! Cool read, write on my friend!

Aye Sean - last line first stanza "a part" maybe? But then it does work both ways too! You are getting squishy on me and I shall now write a poem that you just inspired with "Fields of Fried Chicken" (like my brain) - cheers laddie!
