Unfurling

By Malice In Wonderland

silent
twilight slips seamlessly
entwining the earth
in ebony sleep
punctuated by
lunar rays
singing siren tongued sonnets
of the nocturnal
coming to play
leaving only traces
in the mo[u]rning.
