He asked me to wait for him . . . ?
And since I knew he needed to go, the easiest thing for me to say was:
YES.
But once he was gone, I realized:
“I’m just not the waiting kinda girl…”
He told me that he loved me . . . ?
Right after he made me aware of his need for time.
NO,
He couldn’t love me and still want to be away from me.
“I’m just not willing to accept this.”
He said I could depend on him . . . ?
But I can’t depend on someone who isn’t there.
MAYBE.
I once tried dependency, but that didn’t turn out well for me.
So this time I say:
“Fuck you!”
